Accounting Associate

Job description

• Assists the Accounting Department with day-to-day functions by performing entry-level accounting duties.
• Performs general accounting activities regularly such as bank reconciliation and month-end closing reconciliations and adjustments.
• Perform tasks related to accounts receivable functions including timely recording of Sales and Accounts Receivables.
• Coordinates with the concerned departments/units if there are erroneous entries entered in the books for adjustments.
• Assists with the monthly closing of the books and account analysis.
• Prepares monthly reports and supporting reconciliations for submission to management.
• Records Unit Sales, Purchases and Debit/Credit Memo to manual books of Accounts.
• Perform other job-related tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience working as an Accounting Associate or a similar position in the Accountingdepartment.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Outstanding cash handling skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to solve complex problems.
• Phenomenal time management skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent decision-making abilities.
• A close observation of accuracy.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php13,000.00 - Php13,300.80 per month
