Accounting & Finance Assistant

1. Accounting Transactions

• Record daily financial transactions including sales, installations, repairs, and service payments.
• Process invoices, receipts, and billing for customers, suppliers, and contractors.
• Ensure proper coding of expenses and revenues in the accounting system.

2. Billing & Collections Support

• Prepare and issue customer invoices based on installation and subscription data from the system.
• Coordinate with the Sales Team on billing discrepancies.
• Assist in tracking collections and preparing aging reports.

3. Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Process supplier and contractor payments in line with approved budgets.
• Maintain vendor records, ensuring timely payment and accurate posting.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue accounts.

4. Financial Reporting & Reconciliation

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and verify accuracy of cash flow records.
• Support variance analysis between actual and budgeted figures.

5. Audit & Compliance Support

• Assist in preparing documents and schedules for internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and statutory requirements.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation for all financial transactions.

6. Cross-Department Coordination

• Work closely with Operations for project cost tracking.
• Coordinate with HR for payroll disbursement and related benefits payments.
• Liaise with Procurement for purchase orders and supplier billing.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Experience:

• At least 1 year of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in telecommunications, ICT, or service-related industries.
• Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) is an advantage.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas) and other MS Office applications.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php16,000.00 - Php25,000.00 per month
