Accounting Manager (CPA)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Accounting Manager to lead our financial operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting. This leadership role will manage day-to-day accounting functions, oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in accounting, proven leadership experience, and a passion for process improvement and team development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities
• Prepare timely and accurate financial reports (monthly, quarterly, and annual)
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, tax laws, and internal accounting policies
• Develop and implement robust accounting procedures to enhance accuracy and operational efficiency
• Lead, mentor, and support the growth and development of the accounting team
• Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors for financial audits and other reporting requirements
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization
• Assist in annual budgeting, financial forecasting, and long-term planning initiatives
• Manage special projects and provide ad hoc financial reports as needed by management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification preferred)
• 4–5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and local tax regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with experience collaborating across departments
• Prior experience with financial audits and compliance processes is an advantage
