Job Summary:
The Accounting Officer is responsible for managing financial records, overseeing budgeting, monitoring project expenses, and ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and government regulations. The role involves working closely with project managers, suppliers, and the finance team to maintain accurate financial reporting for construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate accounting records and prepare financial reports.
- Monitor construction project expenses and budgets.
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with labor laws.
- Handle accounts payable and supplier payments.
- Ensure tax filings and government compliance (BIR, SSS, PhilHealth).
- Assist and maintain financial documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related field.
- CPA is an advantage but not always required.
- 2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in the construction industry.
- Knowledge of PH tax laws, BIR filing procedures, and local government compliance.
- Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php19,500.00 - Php22,100.00 per month
