Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Staff member to join our team. This role is open to both fresh graduates and candidates with relevant experience. The successful candidate will assist in the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and support overall accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in recording and processing daily financial transactions.
- Help maintain general ledger accounts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures.
- Prepare basic financial reports and summaries.
- Assist in reconciling bank statements and monitoring cash transactions.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
- Collaborate with other departments for financial data gathering and verification.
- Support audit and compliance efforts by providing required documentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).
- No prior experience required; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Any internship or related experience in accounting is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Familiarity with MS Excel; knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn and take initiative.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment & Schedule:
- Office-based role with standard business hours (Monday to Friday).
- Occasional extended hours during reporting periods or audits.
