Job Objective:
The position is responsible for the preparation of internal and external financial reports and compliance reports to different regulatory bodies, and for performing budget and banking-related functions.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with different departments to develop annual budgets based on organizational goals and financial projections;
- Conducts thorough analysis of historical data and current trends to inform budget allocations;
- Identifies areas for cost optimization and efficiency enhancement;
- Monitors budget performance regularly and compares actual expenditures against planned budgets;
- Investigates variances and discrepancies, and takes corrective actions as necessary;
- Provides timely reports and updates to management on budget status and financial performance;
- Prepares accurate and comprehensive financial reports for internal stakeholders and external parties, as required;
- ·Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards in all financial reporting activities;
- Manages relationships with banking partners and financial institutions;
- Coordinates with the finance team to reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies;
- Stays updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to budget management and banking operations; and
- Ensures adherence to internal policies and procedures as well as external regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology or Economics;
- Preferably with experience in budget planning, financial analysis, and banking operations;
- Has strong analytical skills with attention to details and accuracy;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Proficient in financial software and tools and with advanced MS Excel skills;
- With sound knowledge on financial regulations and compliance standards;
- Can prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure in a dynamic environment;
- Honest and trustworthy; and
- With strong moral principles and integrity.
