Qualifications

• Education: At least an associate degree in accounting or a related field, with a preference for a bachelor's degree.
• Accounting Technician or Bookkeeping Certifications is a plus

Experience

• Internships or Entry-Level Positions: Internships or experience in accounting, even at the basic level, can be helpful. Many entry-level accounting roles (such as accounting clerks or junior accountants) may not require much experience but do expect familiarity with basic accounting principles.
• Familiarity with Financial Software: Experience using accounting software (like QuickBooks,
• Xero, Sage, or Microsoft Excel) is often highly valued.
