What is this role about?
The role oversees branch-level financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and timely processing of transactions.
What will YOU do?
- Prepare and submit periodic financial reports (e.g., income statements, sales summaries, expense tracking, and cash flow updates) for management review
- Ensure accurate processing and review of financial documents such as vouchers, sales invoices, receipts, and delivery slips
- Lead monthly bank reconciliation and general ledger review to maintain up-to-date and accurate financial records
- Supervise daily financial encoding and month-end closing activities, ensuring timely and complete data entry
- Coordinate with internal teams to verify transactions and resolve discrepancies
- Monitor operating expenses and suppor the preparation and tracking of weekly/monthly branch budgets
- Ensure compliance with dealership accounting processes and BIR requirements, including proper documentation and VAT tracking
- Maintain organized records of all financial documents, supporting audit readiness and documentation integrity
- Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing required schedules, reconciliations, and documentation
- Supervise and mentor junior finance/admin staff, ensuring accuracy in day-to-day financial operations and promoting process improvement
- Performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time
What will YOU need?
- Graduate of a four-year course in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance - prior experience in a dealership or branch-based setup is preferred.
- Strong grasp of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes (e.g., bank reconciliation, general ledger, accounts payable).
- Experience in supervising financial transactions, sales monitoring, and overseeing budget and petty cash management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and commonly used accounting systems or ERP tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage sensitive financial information with discretion.
- Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Service, Parts, and Admin teams.
- Ability to lead junior staff, review outputs, and ensure accuracy and timeliness in financial processes.
- Knowledge of BIR requirements, VAT documentation, and familiarity with audit preparation and compliance standards.
- Willing to be based full-time in La Union and support the financial operations of a growing EV dealership.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) eligibility is preferred but not required
