BASIC FUNCTION
Checking, Identify, Tagging, Scanning, Issuance, Receiving, Classification
SPECIFIC DUTIES
- Scaling of lumber
- Manual unloading of lumber from a vessel.
- Checking the quality of lumber
- Species of lumber
- Size & specification
- Quality – if within acceptable tolerance
- Quantity – count of each stack
- Pallet Receiving Tagging
- Summary of Pallet Tags
- Pallet classification
- Numbering & batch coding in relation to the DPSR.
- Identify pallet component damages of pallet by manually checking for ff:
- Top board
- Bottom board
- Stringer (Center & Outer)
- Blocks (Center & Outer)
- Properly categorize the gravity of pallet damages per criteria
- For hard document
- Secure legible name and signature of client representative.
- Summarize per criteria result (FC,FOC, Minor,Major,BER,FOC-BER) per DPSR.
- Issue client copy.
- Uploading the hardcopy of DPSR
- Encoding DPSR result
- For Digital doc
- Secure signature onto the soft document - save & upload to designated location.
- Checker
- Check accuracy of all issuance & receiving within WH & Stockroom
- All issuance and receiving should be first verified to WH office
- Identify if pick up/ issuance/ receiving items & location is accurate and available in accordance to the WH office instruction before proceeding with the activity
- Pallet tag accuracy checking
- Pallet dispatch checking
- Scanning to formalize done activities.
- Any work related instructions advised by the immediate supervisor or department manager.
- To follow any work related instructions given by the WH Team Leader, WH Supervisor or Operations Manager
A. Required Knowledge & Competencies:
- Trainability
- Familiarity with different types of Lumber is preferred.
- Skills in Performing basic counterchecking of quantity variances
- Monitoring – conduct spot inspection and coordinate with relevant officers
- Problem-solving – ability to read and interpret reports and to troubleshoot variances.

D. License, Education and Experience
- Minimum Educational Attainment - College Graduate (for promotability)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php560.00 per day
