Job Summary:
The Area Coordinator is responsible for managing and supervising the logistics operations of the SPX Pampanga Hub. This role ensures efficient last-mile delivery, proper coordination of riders and drivers, compliance with company policies, and achievement of performance targets. The Area Coordinator also serves as the link between ground operations and management, ensuring smooth communication, accurate reporting, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Logistics & Operations Management
- Oversee daily logistics operations, including parcel dispatching, routing, and delivery monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLA) for timely and accurate deliveries.
- Monitor parcel flow, hub activities, and manpower allocation to maximize efficiency.
Team Supervision & People Management
- Supervise riders, drivers, and support staff within the Meycauayan area.
- Monitor attendance, performance, and discipline of logistics personnel.
- Assist with recruitment, training, and onboarding of new staff.
Coordination & Communication
- Serve as the main contact between the Meycauayan Hub and central operations.
- Coordinate with other hubs, linehaul, and support teams to ensure smooth parcel movement.
- Report operational updates, challenges, and accomplishments to management.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure adherence to company policies, logistics processes, and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate operational records, parcel reports, and staff documentation.
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly performance reports (deliveries, returns, manpower utilization)
Problem-Solving & Continuous Improvement
- Resolve escalations, service issues, and customer complaints in a timely manner.
- Identify bottlenecks in operations and recommend process improvements.
- Implement best practices to improve delivery speed, accuracy, and cost efficiency.
