Job Summary:
As an Area Supervisor of Famous Belgian Waffles, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of franchise operation stores. Ensures each store consistently follows standard operating procedures. Conducts store visits, minimum of 4-stores per day. Provides feedback and recommendations to franchisee.
You will be directly reporting to the Area Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Management
- Conducts visits to monitor store compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.
- Attend to store's concern and feedback promptly.
- Can adapt to different work environment. Amenable to be assigned in other locations as needed.
- Must be willing to accept and adjust appropriately to a given task.
2. Staff Management and Training
- Provide guidance, coaching and support to the team lead and service crew, postering a positive and high-performing work environment.
- Conducts regular performance evaluations. Identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate training programs.
3. Quality Assurance and Customer Service
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, cleanliness, and hygiene across all stores.
- Foster a customer-centric culture, ensuring exceptional service and handling customer complaints effectively.
- Always upholds the brand's values and reputation.
4. Performance Analysis and Reporting
- You will regularly monitor store sales and operations concerns from each assigned store. Assess, identify, and recommend opportunities for improvement.
- You will prepare and present reports that are essential to creating a substantial solution to a particular challenge.
5. New Store Openings
- Responsible for initial engagement, store Ingress. Ensures he/she is on top of the 6-day store assistance provided by the company to the franchisee.
- Conducts evaluation and recommendations.
- As an Assistant/Project Manager, you are expected to do updates and handle franchisee concerns. Study preventive measures to avoid recurring issues or complaints.
6. Crisis Management and Problem-Solving
- In the face of challenges, such as supply chain disruptions, staffing issues, or unforeseen circumstances, you will be responsible for managing crises effectively.
- Your problem-solving skills will be put to the test as you find solutions and make decisions to minimize disruptions and ensure business continuity. Seek the assistance of your immediate superior for any event needed or uncertainty.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of Business Administration or Hospitality Management or any related course
- At least 1 year or proven experience in Supervisory role
- With experience in Food & Beverage Industry
- Leadership skills and ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage different stores
- Flexibility to travel outside designated areas as needed
- Preferably residing near South area
