About the Role
We’re an Australian-based psychology practice committed to improving psychological health—and we’re looking for a detail-oriented, experienced AU Bookkeeper to help us stay on track financially.
If you’re passionate about keeping clean books, love using Xero, and have solid experience working with Australian businesses, this could be the perfect fit. You’ll be supporting psychology and allied health clients across Australia, ensuring their financials are accurate and compliant—so they can focus on caring for their clients.
What You'll Do
- Manage bookkeeping for psychology and allied health practices in Australia.
- Take charge of:
- Accounts Payable & Receivable & Supplier bills
- Payroll Processing
- Bank Reconciliations & Sales Invoices
- Review & code GST & Business expenses
- Review & Code Expenses
- Conduct Regular Balance Sheet Reviews
- Prepare & Lodge BAS & IAS
- Maintain accurate, organized client files and workpapers.
- Ensure compliance with Australian bookkeeping standards.
- Provide proactive communication and bookkeeping support to clients.
Why You’re a Great Fit
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of Australian bookkeeping experience (essential).
- Xero Certified (must provide proof).
- Experience with healthcare or psychology-related businesses is desirable but not essential.
- High attention to detail and commitment to deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
