Position: AU Tax Accountant (Australian Account)
Location: 3rd Floor Plaza Victoria Bldg., Sto. Domingo, Angeles City
Schedule: Monday to Friday (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM PH Time)
Compensation: Highly Competitive Salary (Negotiable)
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced AU Tax Accountant to handle Australian tax compliance and accounting tasks. You will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and lodging various tax returns, ensuring compliance with ATO regulations, and providing accurate financial reports to support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS, PAYG, GST, and FBT returns in compliance with Australian tax laws.
- Complete individual, partnership, trust, and company tax returns.
- Assist with tax planning and advisory services for clients.
- Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records using Xero, MYOB, or other AU accounting software.
- Maintain and update depreciation schedules and asset registers.
- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Coordinate with Australian clients and team members to clarify tax-related matters.
- Ensure all tax lodgments are submitted on time to avoid penalties.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years experience in Australian tax and accounting.
- Proficient in Xero, MYOB, HandiSoft, or similar AU accounting software.
- Solid understanding of Australian tax legislation and ATO requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Willing to work onsite (Non-negotiable)
