We are looking for a highly skilled Operations Automation Specialist who will serve as the backbone of our automation efforts. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on streamlining processes, connecting systems, and enabling teams to work smarter. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cross-platform automations that integrate n8n, Airtable, Microsoft Power Automate/Power Query, and various APIs (JIRA, Basecamp, and others).

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with operations and cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, design workflows, and implement process improvements.
- Build and maintain automated workflows using n8n, ensuring efficient and reliable execution across multiple business systems.
- Connect and synchronize Airtable, Microsoft ecosystem tools, JIRA, Basecamp, and other SaaS platforms via APIs, webhooks, and automation flows.
- Develop and manage Power Automate flows and Power Query transformations to streamline data handling, reporting, and operational dashboards.
- Create and manage API integrations with project management, CRM, and communication tools to eliminate manual work.
- Monitor automated workflows, troubleshoot errors, and optimize performance for reliability and scalability.
- Maintain clear documentation for all automations and provide training or guidance to ensure solutions are sustainable.
Requirements
- Proven experience with n8n workflow automation (must-have).
- Strong proficiency in Airtable (schemas, formulas, automations, API integration).
- Skilled in Power Automate and Power Query for Microsoft 365 environments.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and JSON for integrations.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA and Basecamp, including automation of tasks and reporting.
- Bonus: Experience with Zapier, Make.com, or scripting (JavaScript/Python).
Professional Background:
- 2–4+ years of experience in operations automation, systems integration, or process improvement roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to translate business processes into automated workflows.
- Excellent written and verbal communication for documenting workflows and collaborating across teams.
