Automotive Technician diagnoses, maintains, and repairs various vehicle systems, including mechanical, electrical, and electronic components. They perform routine maintenance like oil changes and tire rotations, troubleshoot and repair complex issues, and ensure customer satisfaction by providing quality service and clear communication.
- Identifying vehicle problems using diagnostic equipment and tools, and then repairing or replacing faulty components.
- Performing tasks like oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks.
- Conducting thorough inspections to identify potential issues and recommending preventive maintenance.
- Maintaining detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
Job Qualification
- TESDA Certification: Often preferred, especially in areas in Automotive Servicing. ( NC 1 / NC II)
- Repair Skills: Proficiency in repairing or replacing faulty components.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive systems (engines, transmissions, electrical systems, etc.).
- Valid Driver's License ( Advantage)
