Key Requirements: Mortgage Domain Expertise: • Strong experience in the mortgage industry, with a focus on originations. • Familiarity with loan application, underwriting, credit assessment, and closing processes. • NextGen Knowledge (Preferred): Exposure to NextGen systems is a plus but not mandatory. • Analytical & Technical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex business needs. • Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or similar for documentation and workflow management. • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders. • Ability to present ideas and solutions clearly and concisely. • Time Zone Flexibility: Must be able to work during AEST business hours to collaborate with teams and stakeholders effectively. Key Responsibilities: Requirement Gathering & Analysis: • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to mortgage processes, especially originations. • Conduct workshops, interviews, and meetings to understand business goals and challenges. • Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications. Process Improvement: • Analyze existing mortgage processes and identify areas for improvement. • Recommend innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer experience.
