Job Description
We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Branch Supervisor to lead our operations in Boracay. This role is responsible for overseeing branch activities, establishing local partnerships, managing day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with government regulations, and delivering high-quality service. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong leadership, operational, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Key Responsibilities
Partnership Development
- Build and maintain partnerships with local businesses, transport groups, and LGUs to support Xpress services in Boracay.
- Implement and monitor adherence to standard operating procedures in collaboration with local stakeholders.
Training and Development
- Facilitate training for newly onboarded drivers/riders.
- Ensure all personnel are aligned with company values, policies, and operational standards.
Market Growth Strategy
- Develop and execute strategies to expand market presence and customer reach in Boracay.
- Monitor local market trends and identify growth opportunities.
Operations Management
- Supervise daily branch operations, including customer service, logistics, and field activities.
- Handle escalations, complaints, and emergency incidents with prompt resolution.
Communication and Issue Resolution
- Coordinate with management and stakeholders regarding operational challenges.
- Recommend corrective actions to maintain performance and service quality.
Records and Compliance Monitoring
- Maintain accurate records of branch activities, compliance reports, and corrective actions.
- Submit complete and timely monthly reports to management.
HR Support and Team Supervision
- Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluation of staff.
- Monitor attendance, report violations to HR, and support in disciplinary processes as needed.
Regulatory and Permit Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with transportation regulations and local ordinances.
- Serve as the key contact for LGUs, transport groups, and other local regulatory bodies.
- Oversee the acquisition and renewal of all necessary business permits and licenses.
Crisis Management
- Develop and implement contingency plans for service disruptions, natural disasters, or emergencies.
- Coordinate with local authorities for crisis response efforts.
Quality Assurance
- Monitor and improve service quality by auditing driver performance and customer feedback.
- Resolve complaints and implement necessary improvements to maintain satisfaction.
Team Goal Setting and Development
- Set clear performance goals for team members and provide regular feedback and support to drive achievement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field
- Proven experience in operations or branch management, preferably in the transportation or service industry
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build relationships with LGUs and local business stakeholders
- Deep understanding of local regulations, geography, and market dynamics in Boracay
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple operational tasks
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays, as operationally required
