The Business Analyst (Manufacturing Excellence) is responsible for driving operational efficiency and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the organization. This role focuses on optimizing production processes, managing costs, enhancing client satisfaction, supporting revenue growth, and ensuring the achievement of strategic goals through robust KPI reporting. The individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to align operational performance with corporate objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. KPI Reporting and Analysis
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive KPI dashboard covering manufacturing, quality, cost, and delivery metrics.
- Analyze performance trends and provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Ensure consistent and accurate data reporting across departments.
2. Data Analysis
- Evaluate production metrics, costs, and market trends to uncover inefficiencies and identify opportunities for growth.
3. Process Improvement
- Lead initiatives to improve manufacturing processes, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
- Benchmark company processes against industry best practices.
4. Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma
- Champion Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate waste and enhance efficiency.
- Conduct workshops and kaizen events to empower teams in continuous improvement efforts.
5. Operational Excellence
- Support leadership in setting performance targets aligned with strategic objectives.
- Monitor operations for adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
6. Cost Management
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining product quality.
- Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to optimize resources and inventory.
7. Technology and Digital Integration
- Recommend and implement technologies that improve production efficiency and decision-making.
- Work with IT to enhance reporting systems and integrate ERP solutions for real-time visibility.
8. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with production, quality, finance, and HR teams to ensure KPIs provide a complete view of performance.
- Act as a bridge between operations and senior management to ensure strategic alignment.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering (preferably with a specialization in Food Manufacturing); Master’s degree is an advantage.
Experience:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in food manufacturing, process improvement, or similar roles—preferably in ice cream or related food sectors.
- Strong background in KPI reporting and dashboard management for large-scale operations.
- Familiarity with toll manufacturing and supply chain logistics.
Skills:
- Proficient in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt preferred).
- Skilled in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong leadership and project management capabilities.
- Experience with ERP systems and compliance with food safety standards.
