About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Executive to spearhead new client acquisition, cultivate strategic partnerships, and drive significant revenue growth. This role is perfect for a strategic thinker who excels in a fast-paced, creative environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales or business development, with a preference for experience within the advertising, media, or digital services industry.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Client Acquisition
Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities through both outbound prospecting and inbound lead channels.
Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging industry trends and understand potential client needs.
Build and manage a robust sales pipeline to consistently meet and exceed ambitious revenue targets.
2. Pitching & Proposal Development
Craft compelling pitch decks, presentations, and proposals that are specifically tailored to address client goals and demonstrate value.
Lead discovery calls and meetings with prospective clients to deeply understand their pain points and effectively offer customized solutions.
Collaborate closely with internal teams including creative, strategy, and operations to ensure the feasibility of proposed solutions and alignment with company capabilities.
3. Relationship Management
Develop and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
Ensure a smooth and effective handover of newly signed clients to the account management teams.
Actively attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the company and expand its reach.
4. Sales Reporting & Strategy
Track and report on key sales metrics, including lead conversion rates, pipeline value, and client acquisition costs.
Provide valuable insights and feedback to inform and improve offerings, pricing strategies, and market positioning.
Contribute to strategic planning, growth forecasting, and market expansion initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
4–6 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships, ideally within the advertising, media, or digital services industry.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential.
Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and managing sales pipelines.
Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset and a proactive, self-starter attitude.
