1. Butchering Tasks:
- Cut, trim, debone, and portion meat products (beef, pork, chicken, etc.) according to company standards or customer specifications.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of knives, saws, and other butchering tools and equipment.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety while handling meat.
- Check product quality (color, texture, smell) and remove spoiled or expired items.
- Follow proper hygiene practices in accordance with food safety guidelines.
2. Merchandising Duties:
- Arrange and display meat products attractively in chillers, display cases, and freezers.
- Ensure proper labeling of products (name, weight, price, expiration date).
- Monitor inventory levels and report low-stock items for replenishment.
- Rotate products using First-In, First-Out (FIFO) system.
- Assist in pricing updates and promotional displays.
