We are seeking a detail-oriented and user-focused Chatbot Tester to evaluate, debug, and enhance AI-powered conversational systems. As chatbots become central to customer service, sales, and personal assistance, this role ensures that AI interactions are accurate, natural, and engaging.

You’ll simulate real-world user scenarios, identify issues, and provide actionable feedback to improve chatbot performance. If you’re curious about how bots work, have strong communication skills, and enjoy refining digital experiences, this is a great opportunity to grow in the AI space.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:

• Test chatbot interactions for accuracy, clarity, tone, and conversational flow.
• Identify and report issues such as incorrect responses, awkward phrasing, dead ends, or inconsistent behavior.
• Simulate diverse user scenarios to uncover edge cases and usability challenges.
• Document findings and provide structured feedback to developers and AI trainers.
• Collaborate with product and technical teams to refine chatbot behavior and improve user experience.
• Ensure chatbot responses are on-brand, compliant, and aligned with business goals.
• Track recurring issues and contribute to training data improvements.
• Stay informed on conversational AI trends and UX best practices.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Technology, or related fields.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent grammar and attention to detail.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to spot inconsistencies and usability issues.
• Familiarity with AI chatbots, NLP, or conversational platforms is a plus.
• Background in quality assurance, customer service, UX, or content review is beneficial.
• Patience and persistence in running repeated test scenarios.
• Curiosity about AI systems and a willingness to learn emerging tools and technologies.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset. The employee will be regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer. The employee may occasionally be required to move about the office to accomplish tasks; reach in any direction; raise or lower objects, move objects from place to place, hold onto objects, and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds.
