Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for cooking, an eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes. As a Chef de Partie, you will manage a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the preparation and presentation of food meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Food Preparation and Cooking:
- Prepare and cook dishes according to the menu and recipes.
- Ensure all food is cooked to the correct temperature, taste, and presentation.
2. Station Management
- Oversee a specific section of the kitchen, such as grill, sauce, fish, or pastry.
- Set up cooking stations with all necessary supplies before service begins.
3. Quality Control
- Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation.
- Ensure dishes are plated according to the restaurant's standards.
4. Inventory Management
- Monitor stock levels and order supplies as needed.
- Manage inventory and minimize waste.
5. Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Assist in training junior kitchen staff and apprentices.
6. Health and Safety:
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.

Qualifications:
- Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management or Certificate in Culinary Arts or equivalent; Minimum of 3-5 years in a professional kitchen, with at least 2 years as a Chef de Partie or similar role in high-end establishments.
- Skills: Exceptional culinary skills, strong organizational abilities, excellent communication, and creative flair for dish development and presentation.
- Knowledge: Comprehensive and in-depth understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, food safety standards, and menu planning.
- Certifications: Culinary degree or equivalent experience, with required Food Safety and Hygiene certification, and additional specialized certifications as a plus.
- Attributes: Passion for cooking, strong teamwork skills, high professionalism, positive attitude, and physical stamina for demanding tasks.
