- JOB SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Senior Accountant, the Compliance Officer’s main task is to ensure timely and accurate compiling, filing, and submission of PEZA and BOC forms and duties. They will be the representative of the company for these government offices and they must ensure that the company always has a positive relationship with said offices.
- DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, and AUTHORITIES
I. Permits and Licenses
Preparation and processing of ‘Application for a Permit to Bring Goods from the Zone into the Customs Territory’ (PEZA Form 8106) for outgoing deliveries; and processing of ‘Application to Bring Goods from the Customs Territory into the Zone’ (PEZA Form 8105) for the incoming deliveries, to PEZA and BOC.
- Submission of application (as prepared by Accountant AR or Admin Officer) and follow-up for the release of Letter of Authority (LOA) from PEZA.
- Submission of General Transportation Surety Bond (GTSB) and payment for acceptance fee to BOC in compliance for indirect/direct export projects.
- Submission of monitoring liquidation reports (as prepared by Accountant AR or Admin Officer) to PEZA for all LOAs to be allowed by PEZA & BOC subsequent deliveries and renewal of LOAs for future deliveries.
- Preparation and submission of monthly performance report (EZMPR) as compliance for continued registration with PEZA.
- Collection (from Accountant/Accounting Assistant AR) and submission of all requirements to PEZA and BOC for securing permits for import and export transactions.
II. Others Assists in other Administrative tasks in Laguna Factory Strictly follows the established Food Safety Management System (FSMS)
- Processing of registration, renewal permits and licenses to government agencies and assisting on other company compliance with, but not limited to: Bureau of Internal Revenue, Social Security System, Philhealth, Pag-Ibig, DOLE.
- BASIC RELATIONSHIP
- Reports to the Senior Accountant and Managing Directors
- Coordinates with Production, Supply Chain, Accounting and Sales
- May be assigned other tasks by Senior Accountant or Managing Directors
- JOB SPECIFICATION
- Has a bachelor's degree in any Business course; preferably. Logistics Management or Customs Administration;
- Familiar with Letter of Authority (LOA) preparation and submission of PEZA;
- At least one (1) year experience in a PEZA-registered company;
- Knowledgeable in:
- Preparing and processing of delivery Forms 8106 and 8105 for PEZA and BOC
- Processing Surety Bond request for BOC
- Creating Compliance reports for the renewal of registration and registered activities to PEZA
- Can Drive Manual or Automatic
- Willing to Travel (NO SHUTTLE AVAILABLE)
- Willing to start ASAP
