Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Compliance Officer to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards at local, national, and international levels. This role involves managing risks, maintaining ethics frameworks, and liaising with regulators on AML/CFT, data privacy, consumer protection, and credit bureau oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Monitor and update internal compliance policies.
- Submit mandatory regulatory reports.
- Supervise credit bureau reporting.
- Respond to audits and external requests.
- Support internal regulatory alignment and senior management reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Administration, or related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in AML/CFT, Consumer Protection, Data Privacy, or Risk Management.
- Experience in banking or auditing is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to stay updated on regulatory changes.
- Must be able to travel once a year; relocation not required.
