Job Description:
We are seeking a highly creative, highly detail oriented, and experienced Design Lead to head up our dynamic Visual Team. As the Design Lead, you will be responsible for helping us reach our goal of delivering educational materials in clear and intuitive ways that help drive student success. By establishing visual standards for our academic content, leading and managing our design team, and overseeing the visual execution of all design projects, you will ensure that the visual identity of our product is inspiring, innovative, and impactful. You will collaborate with multiple internal teams, including teams specializing in biology, chemistry, math, and psychology departments to deliver compelling visual solutions that drive engagement and learning for our
audience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
● Develop and improve upon product design and style standards that ensure clarity for students at multiple levels.
● Oversee the production of educational illustrations and diagrams that will be used in both video and print formats.
● Oversee and direct graphic design of educational materials used in both video and print formats.
● Manage, motivate, and support a team of talented designers and illustrators.
● Provide guidance, feedback, and creative direction to help the team grow and deliver high-quality work.
● Supervise the day-to-day requests for visual content and assets, while ensuring deadlines are met.
● Work closely and collaborate with other teams to provide high quality and
engaging visual solutions.
● Review design work to ensure it meets company standards, offering constructive feedback and suggesting improvements when needed.
● Understand and implement accessibility standards using Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 and collaborating with the Accessibility
Team.
● Must be able to join regular meetings between 9am-5pm EST.
Requirements
● Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines, and familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Notion, Slack, etc) is a plus.
● A strong understanding of graphic design, including layout, information design, typography, and color theory.
● A keen eye for detail, ensuring all designs meet high standards of quality and accuracy.

● Reliable technology/devices and strong internet connection .

Preferred Qualifications
● Expertise with Adobe Creative Cloud Products including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.
● Has experience in cross-team collaboration.
● Experience working with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.
● Background knowledge of science and/or math concepts is a plus.
● Background in designing for education or related fields a plus.
Qualifications:
● Degree in graphic design, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
● 5+ years of design experience with 2+ years of leadership experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php550.00 - Php783.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
