BTSMC Managing Solutions, Inc. is looking for a COST ESTIMATOR (6-Mos. Project-based)
Qualifications:
- Preferably Graduate of Engineering course or any related field
- Preferably a Licensed Engineer or equivalent in a relevant discipline
- With a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Cost Estimating works in Construction, Engineering, and other related industry
- Preferably with 2 to 3 years of Oil & Gas experience
- Knowledgeable in construction materials and methods
- Knowledgeable in cost estimating tool such as Planswift
Job Summary:
Acts as Cost Estimator for BTSMC's Projects that is responsible for providing complete quantity take-off, analysis, estimate, and studies for all deliverables involved in the assigned scope.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Analyzes plans, bills of quantities and other project documentations to estimate costs.
- Monitors and improves estimating performance through incorporation of actual cost feedback into future estimates.
- Researching, sourcing, and obtaining quotes from suppliers and subcontractors for estimating and other project purposes needed.
- Identifies information needed for developing accurate estimates as well as identifying many technical issues related to project implementation.
- Assess the financial, technical, and operational risks of the project.
- Provides estimates for extra work items, change orders, and credits; procurement of material etc. to support awarded contracts.
- Ensures alignment to Company Standards and Procedures.
- Continues awareness of the latest construction technologies to come up ways of improvement on current procedures.
- Ensures the integrity of QMS is maintained.
Other Details:
- Work Schedule: 7:00 AM-4:00 PM - Monday to Saturday
- Work Location: Full on-site in Tabangao, Batangas
