A. General Description of the Job
The Data Mining Specialist will be responsible in discovering patterns, correlations, and insights within large sets of data to support strategic decision-making. Using statistical methods, machine learning algorithms, and data analysis tools, they extract useful information from structured and unstructured data sources.
B. Scope of Work
- Data Collection: Perform data mining on historical data to identify variables exhibiting strong correlations with WESM end-of-day prices.
- Data Cleaning: Identify and correct errors, handle missing values, remove duplicates, and maintain data integrity and consistency.
- Data Analysis (including EDA): Summarize the data using statistics, visualize data with charts, graphs, and plots, identify trends, patterns, relationships, and anomalies, and form hypotheses.
C. Qualifications
- Graduate of BS Statistics, Computer Science or Applied Mathematics
- Preferably with experience in data mining and analysis.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Pay: Php16,000.00 - Php20,000.00 per month
