Duties and Responsibilities
1. Safely operate the assigned vehicle, following traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure the safety of passengers, cargo, and others on the road.
2. Transport goods, or materials to their designated locations promptly and efficiently, adhering to established routes or directions.
3. Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections, checking for mechanical issues and reporting faults or damage to the appropriate department.
4. Load and unload goods or materials, ensuring proper handling, securing, and documentation as necessary.
5. Provide exceptional customer service by excellent customer service during deliveries and assisting with loading and unloading of products.
6. Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, mileage, fuel consumption, or other relevant information.
7. Adhere to delivery schedules or appointment times, and notify the Logistics Officer of any delays or plan changes.
8. Follow company procedures for collecting and delivering goods, including obtaining necessary signatures, and completing paperwork, and documentation if applicable.
9. Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the vehicle, inside and outside, ensuring it is always presentable and in good working order.
10. Comply with all safety regulations and protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary and practicing safe driving techniques.
