Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with technical support centers in South East Asia and East Africa, that provide program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world.
The Deputy Project Manager supports the Project Manager in the execution of all tasks under the Statement of Work (SOW), ensuring alignment with requirements, schedules, deliverables, and quality standards. This role leads the day-to-day operations of the local Project Management Office (PMO), managing scheduling, logistics, documentation, and coordination across technical and support teams. The DPM also plays a critical role in stakeholder engagement, compliance, and project integration, ensuring that all activities are carried out efficiently, on time, and in full compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
This is a nationwide project, and we need someone who is willing to travel and take on assignments at various project sites across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
- SOW Execution: Support the Project Manager in executing all tasks outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW), ensuring alignment with project requirements, schedule, deliverables, and quality standards.
- PMO Operations: Lead the day-to-day operations of the local Project Management Office (PMO), overseeing scheduling, logistics, documentation, and coordination across all technical and support teams.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Oversee collaboration with Government of the Philippines (GPH) stakeholders to facilitate site access, permitting, and regulatory compliance.
- Strategic Planning: Support the development and implementation of the System Engineering Plan (SEP), ensuring technical planning is fully integrated across all project phases.
- Deliverables and Milestones: Oversee the development of Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), monitor all project milestones and dependencies, and proactively recommend mitigation strategies and schedule adjustments for risks.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure that all COR-approved recommendations are integrated into the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and Project Management Plan (PMP).
- Tax and Regulatory Compliance: Coordinate with the Tax and Regulatory Compliance Specialist to ensure VAT exemption processes are aligned with project schedules and procurement activities.
Qualifications to be successful in the role:
- A bachelor's degree in project management, engineering, business, or a related field is required
- Should have at least 7 years of experience supporting complex international projects, with a preference for experience in the defense, security, or infrastructure sectors.
- Must have demonstrated experience coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and managing project execution
- Should be familiar with DoD and USG project management standards, including PMP, IMS, EVM, and WBS
- Strong understanding of Philippine regulatory frameworks, permitting processes, and interagency coordination mechanisms is essential
- Must have a proven ability to manage deliverables, schedules, and stakeholder communications in high-volume, multi-site projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required, with proficiency in Tagalog being a strong asset
