As a member of the Development team, the Business Analyst is responsible for gathering, analyzing and communicating business requirements for assigned product development, product maintenance and support activities; and for contributing to the design and realization of solutions to agreed requirements. The role spans the full product development lifecycle. The position involves interaction with supports, consultants, product management, product architects, developers, other business analysts, quality assurance and technical writers. The Business Analyst is expected to possess hands-on understanding of the product functionality and needs of users.A Day in the Life
- Participates in the development planning for the team.
- Ensures that product designs successfully fulfill the needs that are defined in the business requirements.
- Responsible to provide designs and input on coding, quality, and implementation considerations throughout the development lifecycle.
- Review and contribute to product release documentations such as Configuration Guide and integration Guide.
- Product maintenance and support activities.
- Investigate, validate and prioritize resolution of reported bugs.
- Carry out different types of testing such as integration testing, functional testing, regression testing and smoke testing of new development work as assigned.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as Business Analyst.
- Minimum of 2 years experience of using, supporting or testing ERP software
- Software design and development.
- Problem-solving, analysis and testing.
- Familiarity with SDLC.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Background in electronic reporting or messaging service (i.e. ISO standards, SEPA credit transfer and debit transfer, tax reporting) will be an advantage.
- Experience in working in agile project.
- Background on finance or accounting
