- Work closely with the programme coordinator, the CPS Team and the partner organisations on strategic and operational planning, according to CPS Standards and the expected outcomes and indicators of the current CPS proposal
- Conduct in close dialogue with partner organisations and CPS Team impact-oriented planning processes, including the definition of roles and responsibilities of CPS advisors
- Conduct in close dialogue with partner organisations and CPS Team impact-oriented monitoring processes according to CPS monitoring standards to support learning processes among partners and the CPS Team
- Assure the integration of conflict sensitivity, Do No Harm principle, gender sensitive / transformative and a human rights-based approach in all CPS project measures
- Elaborate in close exchange with partners and the CPS Team recommendations to the programme and its partner organizations, based on the analysis of monitoring processes
- Support partner organisations, and the CPS Team with reporting at project level and the CPS coordination with reporting to Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ)
- Assure Knowledge Management focused on learning experiences and good practices processes among the CPS team, the CPS partners' network in the region, CPS of GIZ, the CPS consortium and the GIZ Network International Cooperation in Conflicts and Disasters (NICD)
- Master's degree in social or political sciences, peace and conflict studies, or any other relevant domain
- Several years of expertise and practical experience in the areas of peacebuilding and local conflict transformation
- Proven skills in Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (PME), context and conflict analysis and in designing conflict sensitive approaches
- Professional experience in fragile contexts and work experience in southeast Asia
- Partner oriented work skills and advisory competencies
- Proven ability to work in a multicultural team and sensitivity to questions as racism, colonial and historic legacies
- Patience and high frustration tolerance are needed
- Fluency in English; solid language skills in German; Visayan would be an asset

GIZ's Development Service is looking forward to applications of candidates with a professional qualification and / or university degree and at least two years of professional experience. In addition you hold the German nationality or the nationality of a member state of the European Union.
