Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Intern to join our Singapore Investigative Services team under ICS Distribution Compliance. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the investigative process within a professional and collaborative environment. The intern will support the team by conducting preparatory work, reviewing documents and information, assisting with reference checks, and performing various administrative and ad hoc tasks. This role is ideal for individuals interested in compliance, investigations, or legal support functions.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and review of documents and information prior to the commencement of investigations.
- Conduct background research and data gathering to support ongoing investigative cases.
- Provide support in processing reference check requests for former Manulife representatives.
- Organize and maintain investigation files and documentation in accordance with internal protocols.
- Assist in drafting summaries, reports, and other documentation as needed.
- Perform ad hoc administrative duties and special projects as assigned by the Investigative Services team.
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Law, Business, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
