Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
- At least 2-5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, with a preference for experience in a trading business or related industry.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.). o Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and local tax regulations.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be willing to be assigned in Capas, Tarlac.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Bookkeeping & Financial Recordkeeping
- Maintain and update general ledger entries for daily transactions including sales, purchases, accounts payable, accounts receivable, advances and intercompany transactions.
- Ensure accurate recording of trade transactions, inventory movements, and related adjustments.
- Assist on processing of invoices, receipts, and payments, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to company policies.
- Regular monitoring of project revolving fund.
2. Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Provide data for the preparation of financial reports, including identifying trends and discrepancies for further review by the Accounting Manager or Accounting Supervisor.
3. Cost Tracking and Reporting:
- Track costs and revenue for projects, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Prepare and submit regular financial reports for each project, including cost-to completion estimates, profit margins, and other financial metrics.
4. Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Assist in preparing payment schedules, and ensure timely and accurate disbursements to suppliers.
