The Document Control & QM Officer primarily assists in the overall implementation of QUALITY MANAGEMENT projects and initiatives by documenting process map, monitoring timeliness, creating/ writing policies, quality procedures, safekeeping electronic copies of records and organizing data relevant to the function.
Functions of this position include:
1. Assisting the organization in the planning and implementation of quality management procedures and standards, particularly in the following activities:
- Data gathering relevant to process documentation,
- Organization of various data sets through validation, data clean up and/or other relevant strategies to suit the assessment model that will be utilized,
- Quality documentation and revision of existing policies, procedures, and frameworks,
- Crafting of process maps aligned to new and revised policies and relevant principles of ISO,
- Ensuring compliance of all procedures with the quality management standards set forth,
2. Monitoring project accomplishments
3. Assisting in record management improvement initiatives to enhance accessibility while maintaining quality reliability of data.
4. Planning and co-implementing 5S programs in the workplace
5. Assuring that quality does not get compromised in all day-to-day operations of the business unit.
6. Contributing to divisional initiatives to effect positive changes in the entire organization.
7. Assisting in various communication engagements, information dissemination activities, logistics and conduct of surveys that will significantly contribute to the corporate planning efforts of the organization.
8. Performing other tasks as may be assigned by his/her superior from time to time.
Minimum Requirements:
- College Graduate, preferably (but not limited to) in: BS Industrial Engineering, Business Administration/Management, or Information Management; or equivalent educational degree
- Knowledgeable/ familiar with ISO 9001:2015
- Hours of formal training in QMS, ISO, TPM, and other quality areas is not required but would be an advantage
- Keen on details, Pro-active, Analytical, Innovative, Creative and Resourceful
- Has a good command of the English and Filipino language in both oral and written communication
- Can easily adapt to any process mapping or flowcharting formats
- Amenable to work with tight schedule
