The Opportunity
We’re currently seeking a Technical Documentation Specialist with a background in software development to join our remote team. In this role, you’ll create clear and concise technical reports based on client-provided information and your own research. You may also work with raw audio files to validate content accuracy.
You’ll be working directly with one of the company’s directors and will receive comprehensive training on our documentation standards and processes. This position is perfect for someone who loves writing, is technically inclined, and adapts quickly to new tools and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and edit high-quality technical reports based on client input and research
- Verify technical details through audio recordings or supplementary materials
- Follow structured documentation processes and maintain consistency across projects
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy and completeness of content
- Manage your time effectively while working independently in a remote setup
Qualifications
- Excellent written English communication skills
- Basic hands-on software development experience (e.g., Java, .NET, etc.) is required
- At least 2 years of experience in a software or writing-related role
- Strong passion for technical writing and documentation
- Experience writing structured reports is essential
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines without constant supervision
- Quick learner with a strong desire to explore new technologies and processes
- Reliable internet connection (minimum 5 Mbps, suitable for Skype calls and audio file downloads)
- Academic or research-based writing experience is a plus
What We Offer
- Starting salary: Php 30,000/month (commensurate with experience)
