Position: DRIVER
Job Summary:
The Company Driver is responsible for safely transporting food products, supplies, and personnel to designated locations using an L300 vehicle. The driver plays a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries, proper handling of food items, and maintaining the cleanliness and good working condition of the vehicle. This role supports logistics efficiency and helps maintain high standards of food safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely drive and operate company L300 vehicles for food deliveries to branches, clients, or suppliers.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery and pick-up of goods, supplies, and documents.
- Adhere strictly to delivery schedules and assigned routes.
- Maintain cleanliness and roadworthiness of the vehicle at all times.
- Assist in loading and unloading of food items, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage or spoilage.
- Monitor the condition of transported goods and report any issues immediately.
- Conduct regular vehicle checks and coordinate with the maintenance team for repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Comply with traffic rules, company policies, and food safety standards during deliveries.
- Secure delivery receipts, records, and any other necessary documentation.
- Provide assistance during store mobilization, logistics setups, and special company events when needed.
- Perform other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
- At least High School graduate or equivalent.
- Must have a valid Professional Driver’s License (Restriction Code 1, 2, and 3).
- With at least 2 years of experience as a company or delivery driver, preferably in the food or logistics industry.
- Familiar with traffic laws and delivery routes in Metro Cebu / Cebu
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy items when needed.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct.
- Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
