Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
- Operates the Mobile Laboratory and all company owned, leased, rented or personal vehicles utilized for company business in accordance with the requirement of the Transportation Safety Procedure.
- Conducts sampling in accordance with the standard sampling procedure, Random Field-Testing Procedure and Joint Circular No.001.2021.
- Safely collects and transport the field samples at the Fuel Testing Facility.
Specific Responsibilities
- Ensure that the registration, inspection, and insurance is in effect, as applicable at all times.
- Maintains a valid driver's license and minimum insurance requirements on personal vehicles used for company business and also maintain assigned vehicles according to established maintenance standards.
- Responsible in the proper maintenance and cleanliness of the mobile laboratory, sampling devices and sampling accessories such as but not limited to sampling bottles, funnels and sampling cords.
- Ensures that the whole process of sampling activity was recorded.
- Reports all minor or major vehicle related issues to the immediate superior or her/his designate and coordinate the same at the auto shop, when necessary, upon approval and instruction of the immediate superior or by his/her designate.
- Secure external or prepare internal (if applicable) service report for all services performed on the company vehicle under care and submit to the immediate superior or to his/her designate.
- Assists the Field Laboratory and Laboratory analyst in the conduct of Random Field Testing and Quality Check (QC) testing.
- Performs approved non-random field-testing related driving tasks such as but not limited to transporting of staff to and/or from the staff house or designated pick up point to workplace and vice versa, pick up and/or delivery of company related samples, operation and non-operation related supplies, equipment and documents while ensuring that these are properly received and handed over to the authorized personnel, sample retention and disposal, sample cup-film segregation and washing.
- Maintains a record of all trips in the Daily Travel Log or mobile application indicating, as a minimum, the mileage and purpose of the trip and submit to the immediate superior or to his/her designate.
- Prepares Travel Management Plan in accordance with the Travel Management Requirement of the Transportation Safety Procedure.
- Performs daily and monthly checks on the mobile laboratory and other company vehicle before and after use, using vehicle inspection forms or mobile applications, including but not limited to the use of IVMS and Intelex, to ensure that they are in good operating condition and submit to the immediate superior or to his/her designate.
- Promptly reports to immediate superior or to his/her designate of any encountered vehicular-related incident resulting to damage on the company vehicle.
- Ensures compliance with the Group and national policies including but not limited to the maintenance of the Quality Management System
Qualifications
Education: must be a high school graduate with a valid professional driver’s licence restriction 2 or code B,B1,B2, C.
Experience: with a minimum of 1year driving experience. Knowledge in auto mechanic is an advantage.
Willing to be assigned anywhere in the Philippines
