Our Copy team plays a crucial role in increasing product visibility, boosting conversions, and ensuring brand consistency across listings. We’re currently seeking an Ecommerce Copywriter to join our team and support our continued growth.
About the Role
As an Ecommerce Copywriter at SellCord, you will be responsible for writing high-performing product copy tailored for Walmart Marketplace. You’ll collaborate closely with our account managers, design team, and optimization specialists to craft compelling, keyword-rich content that converts. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-growing ecommerce environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
Write clear, concise, and engaging product titles, bullet points, and descriptions optimized for Walmart’s algorithm.
Collaborate with SEO specialists to include relevant keywords and search terms.
Review and edit product copy to ensure alignment with brand voice and compliance standards.
Participate in weekly copy review meetings and implement feedback in a timely manner.
Manage deadlines across multiple product launches and client accounts.
Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience as an ecommerce copywriter, preferably with Walmart, Amazon, or similar marketplace experience.
Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword placement, and conversion-driven copy techniques.
Excellent grammar, proofreading, and attention to detail.
Experience with content management systems or ecommerce platforms.
Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects at once.
