Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Extruder Operator to join our feed milling team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in extrusion or pelleting operations and be knowledgeable in safety, machine monitoring, and basic maintenance procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor extrusion and pelleting machines in accordance with operational and safety standards.
- Perform routine machine checks and adjustments to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting and autonomous maintenance of machines.
- Record production data and machine performance reports.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and quality assurance protocols.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately.
Qualifications:
- Vocational graduate or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as an Extruder or Pelleting Operator, preferably in a feed mill or similar manufacturing setting.
- Knowledge of extrusion processes, machine operation, and preventive maintenance.
- Familiarity with safety and operational procedures in an industrial environment.
- Attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and ability to work independently.
