Position Overview:
The Finance and Accounting Associate plays a vital role in supporting core financial operations, including general ledger maintenance, inventory and capital expenditure (CAPEX) management, and treasury functions. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, contributing to the month-end and year-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with internal controls, company policies, and applicable accounting standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
General Ledger, Inventory, and CAPEX Management
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Reconcile and record inventory balances between the general ledger (GL) and inventory management systems.
- Maintain and update the lapsing schedule for capital expenditures (CAPEX) and ensure accurate recording and tracking.
Treasury Operations
- Monitor and reconcile daily cash positions, bank balances, and financial transactions
- Assist in the preparation of cash flow forecast and liquidity reports to support financial planning
- Process wire transfers and bank payments, ensuring adherence to internal controls and approval workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in general accounting, with exposure to treasury operations
- Proficiency in spreadsheets (e.g., Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets) and experience with ERP/Accounting systems such as NetSuite
- Familiarity with banking platforms and online financial systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments with demonstrated integrity and confidentiality in handling financial transactions

Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php25,000.00 per month
