This internship offers an opportunity to support the Financial Analysts in the Finance Control team. Key responsibilities include assisting with routine monthly tasks and reporting, contributing to the development and documentation of Finance Control processes, and verifying the accuracy and thoroughness of existing documentation. The intern will also aid in extracting and formatting data, as well as creating basic financial schedules to assist in the reconciliation and verification of ledger balances. This role will be performed under the supervision and guidance of senior team members.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide support and assistance to the Financial Analysts within teams in Finance Control in the regular monthly activities and reporting
- Provide assistance in the preparation and creation of process documentation of Finance Control Processes with the guidance and supervision of the more senior members
- Provide assistance in testing the accuracy and completeness of existing process documentation of Finance Control Processes with the guidance and supervision of the more senior members
- Provide support and assistance in the simple data extraction, data formatting and creation of simple financial schedules from Finance systems to help in reconciling and substantiating balances in the ledger
Required Qualifications:
- Currently taking up BS Financial Management, or any related courses
- Strong oral/written communication skills required to interact with senior officers and representatives from other Divisions and functional departments
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to be flexible to changing environments
- Ability to work independently and willing to collaborate with other teams for a project with huge scale benefits
