As a General Virtual Associate at LatestBuy, your primary responsibility include ensuring high-quality listings through rigorous Quality Assurance (QA) processes to maintain consistency and accuracy across platforms. Regularly monitoring marketplace performance and metrics, including sales trends and customer engagement, helps identify opportunities for growth and optimization. Additionally, tracking item counts by channel ensures accurate inventory management and alignment across all sales platforms. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn about the eCommerce industry.
Key Duties:
- Conduct quality checks on all products listed on websites and marketplaces.
- Revise any incorrect product information on websites and marketplaces.
- Keep track of the active item counts across marketplaces and make sure that items match.
- Inputting and organizing data, maintaining databases, and ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
- Organizing and maintaining files and records and conducting research and compiling data for various projects.
- Conducting online research on various topics, gathering data, and summarizing findings to support decision-making processes.
- Creating and editing documents, presentations, spreadsheets, and other business-related materials.
- Undertaking ad hoc tasks as assigned, which may include transcription, proofreading, invoicing, or other administrative duties.
- Product batches in Excel work
- Perform product image editing tasks using software such as Adobe Photoshop.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Microsoft Office literate particularly with Excel/Spreadsheets.
- Background in Photoshop is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal team members and customers.
- Detail-oriented and able to maintain accuracy and attention to detail while working on repetitive tasks.
- Must be flexible and willing to do other related tasks.
- Ability to self-troubleshoot, detect, and correct one’s own mistakes.
- Proficient in using various software and tools such as Microsoft Office, and project management tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to find solutions to complex issues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business administration, marketing, or communications.
- Experience working as a virtual assistant or in a similar administrative or customer service role.
- Familiarity with various marketplaces and their processes, including Amazon, eBay, and Shopify is a plus.
- Fluency in English language.
