Job Description
The People Partner (Philippines & Guam) will support the Head of HR, Philippines, Guam, Singapore and Malaysia on all operational HR activities in the Philippines and Guam, HR reporting and the rollout of all global and regional initiatives.
Key Accountabilities
HR Operations
- Formulate partnerships across the HR function to deliver value added services to the various departments, by aligning business objectives
- Partnering the line managers in the sourcing and shortlist of candidates through various recruitment channels
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues and provide relevant HR advice
- Partner with line managers and employees to improve work relationships, increase productivity and retention
- Active liaison with the local HR teams for consolidation of local input / information
- Liaison with various departments on resolution of system-related issues (Xactly, EQMS, Workday etc)
- Support in annual performance appraisal and salary review & bonus exercise
- Work closely with the HR Share Services team on the execution of monthly payroll and all other HR transactional services provided
- Rollout / Review of HR Policies and Initiatives
- Administer employee on-boarding induction / exit activities
- Administer insurances, claims, staff welfare and activities
- Preparation of HR/Corporate reports (Monthly HC/FTE Reports, Org Chart, Turnover etc)
- Point of contact for employees’ enquiries and requests
- Any ad-hoc and administrative duties relating to Human Resources
- Successful recruitment of various vacant positions/ seasonal headcount
- Efficient support with Benefits administration i.e. HMO management; employee claims, statutory benefits administration
- Strong Business Partner with the store and regional stakeholders
- Efficient management of receipt and distribution of all office documents
- Coordinate all bi-monthly payroll related requirements
- Spearhead employee engagement activities
Office Administration
- Deliver health insurance claim requests
- Purchase stationery and other office supplies at company accredited vendor
- Update Finance team about Assessment movement (IT equipment & phone)
- Update phone directory
- Health & safety activities/ Officer
- Deliver documents to the stores as required
- Coordinating with suppliers
- Assist to deliver IT equipment to the stores and other brands under Kering
- Update tracking for IT equipment and phones
- Assist to setup for laptop & phone
- Be the contact person when engineer IT visits
Regional Reporting
- Monthly consolidation of regional headcount / FTE reports, organization chart and turnover reports
- Any adhoc reporting required to support the Business in analysis / business proposals and WW business reviews
Key Requirements
- A degree in Human Resources or related discipline
- Min 4 years’ experience in an HR business partnering or operations role
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines
- Strong people, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on individual contributor with strong HR fundamentals and high level of initiative
- Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in a regional scope and / or retail industry is an added advantage
- Proficiency in Outlook/Excel/Word/PowerPoint
- Experience in HR systems such as Workday will be a plus
