Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our team. The HR Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting our Human Resources department in various administrative and operational tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Record Keeping: HR Assistants are responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation. This includes employee files, benefits information, and other HR-related paperwork.
Administrative Support: They provide administrative support to HR professionals by scheduling appointments, conducting orientations, and assisting with various HR processes.
Employee Relations: HR Assistants often serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and may answer frequently asked questions related to HR policies and procedures.
Data Management: They maintain digital and electronic records of employees, ensuring that all employee data is accurate and up-to-date.
Recruitment Support: HR Assistants may assist with recruitment efforts by posting job openings, coordinating and facilitating interviews, and conducting background checks.
Payroll Assistance: Some HR Assistants may help with payroll processing by verifying timecards and ensuring accurate payroll records.
Compliance: They assist in ensuring that the organization complies with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in HR or related field is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and G Suite.
- Understanding of HR principles and practices is preferred.
