Job Summary:
The HR Assistant provides administrative support to the Human Resources department by assisting with recruitment, employee records, benefits administration, and general HR-related tasks. This role ensures efficient and smooth HR operations and supports the organization's policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
- Prepare and maintain employee records, including personal data, employment history, and attendance.
- Help coordinate employee onboarding and orientation programs.
- Monitor and track employee attendance, leaves, and timekeeping.
- Provide administrative support in processing payroll, benefits, and government-mandated contributions.
- Maintain and organize HR documents, such as contracts, memos, and disciplinary reports.
- Assist in planning company events, meetings, and employee engagement activities.
- Respond to employee queries regarding HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of all HR files and records.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the HR Manager or department head.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in an HR or administrative role
- Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices is an advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
