ROOTS Restaurant, in Siargao, is looking for an organized and reliable HR Officer. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience , preferably in the hospitality industry, and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. RESPONSABILITIES:
Recruitment and Staffing
- Oversee job postings, screening, and interview scheduling.
- Coordinate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs.
- Ensure onboarding processes are smooth and compliant.
Policy Implementation and Compliance
- Enforce company policies and procedures.
- Ensure HR practices align with labor laws and regulations.
- Maintain and update employee handbook.
Employee Records and Documentation
- Ensure accurate and secure maintenance of employee records.
- Supervise the processing of HR documentation (contracts, benefits, performance reviews).
Performance Management
- Support performance appraisal processes.
- Help managers identify and address performance issues.
Payroll and Benefits Support
- Coordinate with payroll to ensure accurate compensation.
- Help administer employee benefits programs.
- Resolve payroll or benefits-related issues.
WE REQUIRE
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of HR experience
- Experience with labor laws, recruitment, performance management, and employee relations.
- Proficiency in HR best practices and compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Restaurant industry experience is a plus
- Profieciency in English.
