Job Summary:
The Human Resource Officer/ Executive Assistant to the General Manager is responsible for supporting the overall HR and Administrative functions within the hotel, including recruitment, employee relations, training, benefits administration, compliance, and HR recordkeeping. The role ensures a productive and positive work environment that aligns with the hotel's values and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
I. Recruitment & Onboarding
· Assist in developing job descriptions, posting job ads, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
· Conduct reference checks and facilitate onboarding for new hires.
· Ensure smooth orientation and integration of new employees into the hotel environment.
II. Employee Relations & Engagement
· Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances.
· Support a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
· Assist in planning employee recognition programs and staff engagement activities.
III. Training & Development
· Coordinate employee training sessions and compliance workshops.
· Maintain training records and track development programs.
· Work with department heads to identify training needs.
IV. HR Administration
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records (attendance, leaves, 201 files).
· Prepare HR-related reports for management.
· Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive HR information.
V. Policy Compliance & Legal
· Support the implementation and enforcement of hotel HR policies and procedures.
· Ensure compliance with labor laws and health and safety regulations.
· Assist with disciplinary actions, documentation, and investigations as needed.
VI. Payroll & Benefits
· Collaborate with payroll and accounting teams to ensure accurate employee compensation and benefits administration.
· Track attendance, leaves, and overtime for payroll processing.
VII. Executive Assistant
· Be responsible for heavy calendar management, requiring interaction with both internal and external executives and assistants, as well as consultants, to coordinate a variety of complex executive meetings
· Answer phones and direct all incoming calls to appropriate party promptly and efficiently
· Communicate and handle incoming and outgoing electronic communications on behalf of the Partners
· Assist Partners with preparation of presentation materials
· Review and summarize miscellaneous reports and documents; prepare background documents and outgoing mail as necessary
· Assist in pipeline/forecast preparation and management
· Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and follow through on issues in a timely manner
· Arrange travel schedule and reservations for executive management as needed
· Work closely with the Partners to coordinate and launch hard copy or email campaigns to consultants, clients and potential clients
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php28,000.00 per month
