BASIC FUNCTIONS:
The Human Resource Assistant - Learning and Development supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of employee learning and development programs. Facilitates the conduction, and identification of training needs, and helps to create learning materials. The Human Resource Assistant - Learning and Development also supports the evaluation of training effectiveness and helps ensure that learning programs align with the hospital’s goals and employee development needs.
Education : A holder of bachelor’s degree in Business Administration major in Human
Resource Management or Psychology is essential.
Experience : At least one (1) year experience in the related field is preferred
Duties and Responsibility:
- Carries out clerical duties such as typing, editing, reproducing, scanning, etc.
- Implements all written policies and procedures that govern the Human Capital Management Department.
- Assists the Learning and Development (L&D) Unit Lead in the conduction of Annual Training Needs Assessment on an Organizational, and Departmental level.
- Conducts and consolidates the results of the Annual Training Needs Analysis and submit to the L&D Unit Lead for review.
- Ensures that all employees receive statutory, regulatory, and mandatory training.
- Assists the Learning and Development Unit Lead, Organizational Development and Effectiveness Division Supervisor, and Human Capital Manager on the implementation of all Learning and Development Initiatives.
- Assists the Learning and Development Unit Lead and all concerned Department/Division/Section/Unit in identifying and implementing post-training learning application initiatives.
- Collates, and encodes all Learning and Development budget utilization of the Hospital to be reported to the Learning and Development Unit Lead on a weekly basis.
- Assists in the conceptualization and implementation of all follow-through training courses.
- Prepares and submits the Post-Training Documentation Report to L&D Unit Lead for review.
- Provides, and reports input to L&D Unit Lead, Organizational Development and Effectiveness Division Supervisor, and Human Capital Manager all learning and development analytics.
- Confers, and negotiates with third party learning service providers regarding training initiatives that meets the needs of the Hospital.
- Assists in the conduction of the Institutional Employee Onboarding Program sessions both for newly hired employees, and interns.
- Attends training programs and learning sessions for the enhancement of professional, technical, and personal proficiencies.
