Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Intern currently pursuing an BSBA Major in Human Resources to join our Human Resources Department. This internship provides hands-on experience in HR functions within a manpower outsourcing agency, with a focus on HR documentation, payroll support, timekeeping, and employee records management—allowing accounting students to gain exposure to both HR and payroll processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll and Timekeeping Support
- Assist in collecting and encoding employee timesheets and attendance data
- Help reconcile time records and prepare reports for payroll processing
- Assist in checking government contributions and statutory deductions (SSS, PAG-IBIG, PhilHealth, etc.)
HR Records Management
- Organize and update employee 201 files and digital records
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in record-keeping
- Help track contract renewals, clearances, and other HR documents
Recruitment Assistance
- Support initial applicant screening and interview scheduling
- Assist in job posting and monitoring responses on online platforms
Administrative & Compliance Tasks
- Provide clerical support such as filing, scanning, and document tracking
- Help in compliance reporting and audit preparation
- Coordinate with internal departments for HR-related documentation
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration Major in Human Resources.
- Must be endorsed by school for On-the-Job Training (OJT)
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Willing to learn HR operations and support functions
- Knowledge in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets is an advantage
- Can commit to 600 hours of internship
