The Income Auditor is responsible for tracking the cash flow and accounts of the company and to ensure that they are being recorded and processed correctly, that assets are protected through appropriate control measures, and that financial records meet legal standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct daily audits of all revenue transactions for the hotel/resort brand
- Verify the accuracy of all transactions and identify any discrepancies or irregularities
- Prepare and distribute daily revenue reports to management
- ssist in preparing monthly financial statements
- Assist in the year-end audit process
- Work closely with the accounting and finance team to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
- Develop and implement internal controls to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the revenue audit process
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or BS Accountancy, preferably a Certified Public Accountant
- Should have at least 2-3 years experience in the Hospitality Industry
- Above average knowledge of a hotel’s revenue process and documentation requirements.
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
- Responsible, hardworking, with good analytical ability, organized, motivated and a team player
